Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton recently met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss education reform as part of his Mission 44 initiative, aimed at creating a more inclusive future for young people globally. The meeting, which took place at 10 Downing Street, also included discussions with the Secretary of State for Education Bridget Phillipson on ways the government can support schools and students. Hamilton, who has openly shared his struggles with education and mental health, emphasized the importance of ensuring every student feels valued and supported in school. Through Mission 44, Hamilton aims to transform the lives of vulnerable students by providing access to STEM education and increasing pupil engagement through a new school framework. Additionally, Hamilton’s partnership with Ferrari title sponsors HP will offer young people in the UK and Miami access to technology, training, digital skills, and mentorship to create career pathways and workforce development opportunities. As Hamilton continues to advocate for education reform and mental health awareness, his initiatives are making a positive impact on students and communities across the country.
